Mat Pilates

Pilates is a technique that incorporates low-impact flexibility, muscle strength and endurance movements. Pilates highlights postural alignment, muscle balance and core strength. Pilates stresses proper alignment and helps improve movement patterns, increases flexibility and strength. I use Yoga blocks, straps, and a Pilates Ring in order to ease each individual into each movement.

Yoga - Vinyasa

The best way to prepare your body for Yoga, is first schedule a private session with me. I safely ease each person into the Asanas (postures) using blocks, Yoga straps and bolsters. I assist each person into the postures, according to their abilities with ease and precision. Yoga is for “EVERYONE”. I currently work with clients with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s and Cerebral Palsy who have a Yoga practice. I integrate props with clients who suffer from back pain or scoliosis.

Personal Training

I work with each individual at their fitness level. Whether they want to lose weight, increase strength or simply feel better, I develop programs specifically designed for their fitness goals. Because I am a Yoga and Pilates trained I incorporate these techniques into my programs. I slowly introduce my clients to different styles of training.
